A miracle happened last night!
I had the urge to paint...not paint anything new in particular. More like finish a painting that has gone too long without being completed. I began doing the finishing touches on my leopard painting. The finishing touches ended up taking me 5 hours of course. Layer after layer of paint trying to get the shade just right...and sitting there with a tiny paintbrush getting all the spots just right. Hmmm I've never been that meticulous about a painting before. See I begun that painting about 3 months ago...I had the hold leopard down just not too much detail yet...then for some reason I stopped. I really loved how it was coming out and didnt want to mess it up....this isone of my biggest flaws...I rush paintings. Its almost like if I like a painting alot I'll be eager to see how it turns out...therefore I rush. I've messed up a few paintings that way...luckily it can always be fixed.

its gotten better though. I'll come back, edit this, and put a picture of the finished product later.
but yes...i can only paint late at night. Its a night, when everything is quiet and their are no distractions. Its easier for me to concentrate. So whenever I paint I lose an immense amount of sleep...for days...even weeks. Typical...happens to all my Studio Art classmates also. aah not good though. I'm going to developing eye bags aiya!

I listened to Rilo Kiley all night. Their one song "Does He Love You?" always gets me. The song has got a nice story too it..sad story, but nice...nice twist towards the end.

Maggie Mae kept me company all last night. Aw Maggie Mae how I love you. Shes my cat...my baby. Hahaha. Her name is Maggie Mae...like the Rod Stewart song. I just changed May to Mae. To make it somewhat different. haha yeah my cat is named after a Rod Stewart song. She wouldnt stop meowing though. See she sleeps in my room...and when I'm up late, shes up trying to get me to sleep. She wont stop meowing until I sleep. Yeah cute, but annoying.
